Low Tide. High Tide.

When the water is calm….

Sailing the ocean is beautiful.  Pleasant.  Enlightening.  Majestic.  Yes.  Oh what fun it is to ride……

But, when the tide pitches and rails, and that very same water gets choppy and rough….

The voyage is not as enjoyable.

It may make us feel sick.  Or fearful.  Or worried.  It may even make us feel hopeless.

But rest assured.  The winds will still themselves.

Again, it will be tranquil, and untroubled… those same waters.

The rough seas make us better sailors.   That seems to be true of a lot of things.  And I am not sure why, but it is true.

I am pretty sure the secret to life is Dramamine.  That has to be it.   Dramamine.

“Out of difficulties grow miracles.” – Jean de la Bruyere

And on a lighter note…  but still on the topic of difficulties….

The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
