Wired

Here in Charleston, we have a lot of old buildings.  Old for the U.S., at least.  It is not uncommon to see this type of wiring down here.  This really amazes me, for a couple of reasons.  1. That it works.  and 2. That anyone would intentionally wire something this way.

Twisted.

Sluggo

I am the residual that remains from the travelers of the rainy northwest.  Yes, I laid dormant for one month or so.  But now, I creep out from the depths of these cracks and slime forth.  Behold, I am  Seattle Slug.  You can just call me Harold.  Far from home, I know.  But I shall survive here in the southeast.  I shall.

Dang, ya’ll didn’t mention it was gonna’ be so hot and dry here….. hey, does it sound like I’m pickin’ up a southern twang to you….. and does anybody know what a yankee is?

Butler U. loses in the NCAA Championship

Here’s the deal.  The Bulldogs just lost the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tourney, and I’m all bummed out.  So what the heck.

Beatrice has no idea who won or lost, and in the greater scheme of things, it really doesn’t matter that much.  Bigger thoughts in the world.  Way bigger.  Like what hat to wear tomorrow.
